Dr Rohan Ahmed

Clinical Lead /

Dr Rohan Ahmed graduated from University of Liverpool with a degree in Medicine. He is an aspiring interventional radiologist currently working as a radiology registrar (Senior Resident Doctor), leveraging a strong foundation in surgical practice with an academic and research background.

His journey has been driven by an unwavering dedication to the profession, underscored by a relentless work ethic, a passion for innovation, and a steadfast ambition. In every aspect of his work, he strives to embody the principles of professionalism, integrity, and empathy.

Throughout his career, he has witnessed the disparities in healthcare access, especially for vulnerable populations. This firsthand experience has fuelled his commitment to addressing these inequities.

His involvement in this charity project, dedicated to building a hospital for those with limited or no access to healthcare, is a direct response to that need. By leveraging his medical expertise and drive, he aims to create an institution with his colleagues that not only provides essential treatment but also embodies compassion, hope, and a long-term solution for communities in need.

Dr Umar Hanif

Clinical Lead / BiK Director

Dr Umar Hanif graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Medicine. During his training, he was awarded the prestigious Kidney Research UK Scholarship for an intercalated degree in Physiology. 

He completed his Academic Foundation Programme and Core Surgical Training in the West Midlands, and currently works as a Radiology Registrar. He has a profound interest in research and academia and was awarded the Young Investigator Award, in Leiden (Holland), at BOOS 2019 for his project work on bone cancers. 

He is also a graduate of the prestigious Oxford Young Muslim Leaders Programme.

He is incredibly passionate about the hospital project and is very keen on making it a success for the local and wider community. 

Dr Asif Sheikh

Dr. Asif Sheikh is a radiology registrar with a background as a fully qualified General Practitioner (GP).

He has a deep passion for making a difference in both individual lives and the broader community. With years of experience in primary care, Dr. Sheikh is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach, earning him a reputation as a trusted healthcare provider. His work extends beyond clinical practice into charitable efforts, where he passionately advocates for making healthcare accessible to underserved communities. His efforts aim not only to treat illness but also to empower communities through preventive care and health awareness.

Ultimately, Dr. Sheikh is committed to bridging the gap between medicine and humanitarianism, working toward a future where healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status or location. His dedication to both clinical excellence and social responsibility makes him passionate in advancing equitable healthcare for underserved populations.

Mohammed Hanif

BiK Director

He is a senior police officer in the UK and has demonstrated his leadership qualities and skills in a variety of strategic and operational roles at local, force and national level. He is described as a motivated, adaptable and committed individual who tends to grip matters to enhance performance.

He was the first National Coordinator of Association of Muslim Police, where he advised ministers and police forces across the country regarding the critical role Muslim Communities can play in community safety activities and tackling radicalisation.

Mohammed Hanif has strong links with Pakistan and in the past has given training to police officers in Punjab and AJK. He enjoys good relationships with senior bureaucrats and NGO heads in Pakistan.

He has a passion for charity work and helping the poor and needy. He advises and guides many Muslim Charity organisations in the UK. With family and friends he has assisted in building over 10 small mosques in rural areas of Pakistan and supporting many vulnerable children and families in the country. He has a level 7 Qualification in Management and Communications.

Shakeel Khan

BiK Director

Mr Shakeel Khan is an experienced and qualified lawyer in the UK. He has been in the Legal Field for over 20 years.

Mr Shakeel Khan has also been a office bearer for the political party in Pakistan representing overseas citizens. He has also been instrumental in resolving many cases with the authorities in Pakistan at no costs.

Mr khan is a true advocate for the poor and the needy and has assisted them whenever needed.

It is great to have Mr Khan as part of the Executive Team who will bring a wealth of experience and skills.
