Hospital

Health care is a critical part of any nation’s economy. By improving health, healthcare can help people to escape poverty. This can lead to a more prosperous and stable society. When people are healthy, they are more likely to be able to attend school and get an education, and alleviate poverty. Healthcare can help people to live longer, stronger and healthier lives. This can lead to a happier and more productive society.

Our intention is to refurbish the existing Hazrat Ayesha Memorial Welfare Trust Hospital to a more modern and efficient healthcare service to cater for the people of District Mirpur and Kotli and beyond. In September we will start with an outpatient walk-in centre and provide emergency healthcare. We will frequently analyse collected data on diagnoses and examine the subspecialty needs for the local area. There are over 27 rooms in the hospital and with an opportunity to provide services to in the long run for dialysis, a maternity care, cardiology, a full emergency department or other identified needs. Our focus will be data-driven.

School and Madrassah

Supporting the education of needy children through financial donations holds immense significance. A donation for child education plays a pivotal role in breaking the cycle of poverty by providing children from disadvantaged backgrounds with access to quality education. Such donations cover fees, supplies, and other essentials, and serve as a solution to poor education, enabling children to acquire vital skills and knowledge. You empower these children to escape the grip of poverty, improving their prospects and reducing societal inequalities.

We intend to support the education of needy children through financial donations. This will allow us to refurbish the existing buildings to a higher standard that will allow children to be educated in a safe, secure and vibrant site. We intend to employ quality teachers who will help us achieve brilliant results for our student. We believe in community uplift: Educated children contribute to societal progress, raising standards and promoting positive change.

Build a Skills Centre for the poor and vulnerable

Training and developing skills for the poor and vulnerable will allow them to secure jobs and therefore, provide for their families and the wider community. Creating job opportunities within marginalised communities empowers individuals who would otherwise be excluded from the formal job market. This approach not only combats poverty but also fosters a sense of urgency and belonging among those it serves.

Our intention is to build a skills’ centre at the site where we train and develop poor and vulnerable people to earn a living or have developed the relevant skills to obtain employment elsewhere. We intend to open a sewing centre on site, Beauty Parlour, Improve IT skills as well as having ambitions to train qualified nurses as well.

Other projects on site include: Relief work for disasters and local emergencies, Sports ground for football, volleyball and 5 a side cricket competition.  We intend to provide food parcels during Ramadhan.

We encourage people to visit the site when they are in Pakistan to experience our work first hand.

We have been offered free land in AJK and other areas of Pakistan to provide the above facilities at other locations. In Sha Allah we will expand our work over time.

Please donate kindly and generously, and indicate if you are giving for Zakat, Sadaqah or even General Funds. Please give permission that your donations can be used for all the aforementioned projects unless you specifically want to donate for a specific cause.

We will be holding local fundraising events and we will provide details for these on this website.Have fun!
